What are the office hours?
We are available to current guest by phone 24/7 and others durring day time hours, or available by appointment. Reach us by phone 435-603-0062, durring day time hours or for emergencies after hours.
What Should We Bring?
Bear Lake Lodging will provide: Linen (sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, kitchen rags and kitchen towels) for the amount of people that the property sleeps in beds, this may be different than the maximum occupancy for the property. Each property (except Studio A) has a full kitchen with basic cookware, dishes and utensils. We also provide small hand and bath soap and toilet paper for the bathrooms, and paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher detergent for the kitchen. We provide pool towels in some condos. Others can optain pool towels on a first come, first serve basis at our office.
Items you might want to bring: Bedding for people over the amount the property sleeps in beds. Shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, beach towels, personal items, etc… and grocery items. Any specialty cookware pans or utensils. Some properties have a washer & dryer. Adequate paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) are supplied to meet the cabin’s capacity, should additional supplies be needed they must be purchased by the renter.
Will My Cell Phone Work At The Properties?
Verizon has the best cell and data service in Bear Lake and at our properties. AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint work but may loose signals from time to time and depending on where you’re staying..
Is there Internet At The Properties?
All properties do have access to free wifi. Call us if you have any trouble with the wifi.
Are There Any Grocery Stores In The Area?
Yes, the new Mike’s Market is located at 557 N Bear Lake Blvd. Also the Shell has an associsated food store.
Can I Bring My Pet With Me?
No, pets are not allowed in or around any portion of our properties unless they are specifically designated as a Pet Friendly Room. (Units 110, 212, 213, Studio A, or Luxury Lakeview) Per the contract that is signed at the time of the reservation, “Tenant agrees that this agreement and Tenant’s right to occupy the premises may be immediately terminated by Manager… no monies will be refunded under any circumstance… and Manager is authorized to charge Tenant’s credit card a minimum of $500.”
Can I Smoke Inside The Property?
No, Smoking is not allowed in or around any portion of the properties. Per the contract that is signed at the time of the reservation, “Tenant agrees that this agreement and Tenant’s right to occupy the premises may be immediately terminated by Manager… no monies will be refunded under any circumstance… and Manager is authorized to charge Tenant’s credit card a minimum of $500.”
What If I Need To Cancel Or Change My Reservation?
Cancellation Policy:
Cabins & Townhouses: A deposit of 33% of the total reservation is due at time of booking. The remaining reservation balance is due 30 days prior to arrival of scheduled reservation(s). A cancellation fee of 10% of total payments made will be charged for any and all cancellations. If Tenant cancels any reservation(s) 30 or more days prior to arrival tenant will receive a refund of paid deposits less the cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled between 30 and 14 days prior to arrival will forfeit the entire 33% of total reservation deposit. If cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival, no refunds will be issued unless state mandated due to Covid-19. A credit will be issued to use with in 1 year of booked date and in the same previously book property.
Condos: A deposit of 33% of the total reservation amount is due at time of booking. The remaining reservation balance is due 30 days prior to arrival of scheduled reservation(s). A cancellation fee of 10% of total payments made will be charged for any and all cancellations. If Tenant cancels any reservation(s) 15 or more days prior to arrival tenant will receive a refund of paid deposits less the 10% cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for reservations cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival unless property is rebooked or if state mandated due to Covid-19. A credit will be issued to be used with in 1 year of booked date and in the same property.

What Time Is Check-In and Check-Out?
Memorial Day to Labor Day:
CHECK-IN IS AT 4:00 PM. If the property is ready before 4:00 PM we will be happy to check you in early. CHECK-OUT IS AT 10:00 AM. It is our mission to provide the cleanest properties possible. Please help our housekeeping staff stay on schedule by checking out on time and following the check out procedures.
Off Season:
CHECK-IN IS AT 3:00 PM. If the property is ready before 3:00 PM we will be happy to check you in early. CHECK-OUT IS AT 11:00 AM. It is our mission to provide the cleanest properties possible. Please help our housekeeping staff stay on schedule by checking out on time and following the check out procedures.
What If I Leave Something At The Property?
We will do our best to retrieve them. There is a minimum $25 charge for shipping and handling to mail lost items. Please make sure you get everything when you leave. We are not responsible for lost items.
Will We See Any Wildlife?
Most of the properties are located in the mountains, as a result you could possibly encounter wildlife (deer, elk, moose, squirrels, and bugs of various types, etc…). But most of all, when out on the lake, beware of the Bear Lake Monster.
Is There An Additional Cleaning Charge?
Most of our properties do have a minimal cleaning fee.
Do I Need 4 Wheel Drive To Get To The Property?
Some properties are located on gravel roads. In the summer all properties should be accessible by most vehicles, but we do caution guests against driving sports cars or other low sitting vehicles. During the winter months however most of the properties we do recommend 4 wheel drive to get in and out of them.
